Interview with the actress
ana girardot
1. Hello Ana, what are your plans for back to school?
At the start of the school year I will be starring in “Knock” by Loraine Levy with Omar Sy. I am also releasing a capsule collection with the brand “Pablo” inspired by the character of an artist. I loved working on this project like I prepare my film characters. I project myself into my characters and visualize a perfect wardrobe for them. Clothing is very important to assert yourself and move forward in the world. It is a way of expressing ourselves that perfectly illustrates our personality.
2. You created the Ana G bag brand, why did you have this desire and what was your inspiration to get started?
I've always wanted to create bags. I am passionate about these accessories that I consider to be life companions, but also fashion objects that I have always cherished and collected. During a trip to Hong Kong I discovered a small workshop where I made my first tote. And then I made two for friends and then I continued. I make small collections according to my inspirations and the trips I can take. I would like more and more to associate with local artisans who inspire me.
3. Who is your fashion icon and why?
-Katherine Hepburn
-Lauren Bacall
-Lauren Hutton
-Charlotte Rampling
Each have, in their style, been able to link with elegance and class their part of femininity as much as their part of masculinity. They are strong women and I admire that in a woman.
4. What does a woman in a business suit remind you of?
Just a woman in tailor is a woman of action. A woman who moves forward. She knows how to combine sexy and elegant femininity with a masculine cut. She has a strong silhouette. I would like to play a woman in a suit, it's very interesting to build. I like the way a woman stands cross-legged, the way her eyes observe her interlocutors. I imagine what his strengths are but also his fears.
5. What are your three favorite places in Paris?
The post office cafe in the marsh, plus it's next to the current Admitted store, convenient for Saturday afternoon shopping.
The champ, for cinema this is the place to go. We see films there that aren't shown anywhere else and the atmosphere is like a cocoon.
Home. I travel a lot for work so I'm really happy when I get home and can accommodate the people I love!
